Ph.D. students

Doctoral studies are based on the three interrelated pillars. The first is study – the deepening of the already gained knowledge within the chosen study programme. The second pillar is pedagogy – the development of pedagogical-didactic competencies. The third and most important pillar is science – conducting research, which will result in the writing of a doctoral dissertation and academic publications. All three pillars require full attention; fulfilling them is not an easy task. Especially in the life phase, when it is necessary to fully combine personal, work, and study life.

The Faculty of International Relations aims to be an internationally oriented, interdisciplinary, and methodologically pluralistic research institution. Our goal is to ensure the doctoral students a creative academic environment where they complete their studies while contributing to the faculty’s development and reputation.
