On Friday, 17th of May, the best student project presentations of the compulsory course International Marketing (2MO401) taught at FIR were held at Škoda Auto Czech Republic.

Kayaker Amálie Hilgertová, a student of the 2nd year of International Business became a European Water Slalom Champion in Pau, France. In the thrilling final round, she beat all her rivals and won a gold medal! FIR congratulates Amálie on her great success and representation.

On Monday, 3.6. 2019, the University of Economics, Prague hosted a “Day with Languages” conference with the participation of hundreds of foreign language teachers from universities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The hosts were English, French and Spanish teachers from FIR VŠE. The Dean of the Faculty, doc. Ing. Josef Taušer emphasized the importance of teaching foreign languages (not only) at Universities in his opening speech.
