Faculty of International Relations (FIR) offers degree programs at all three levels of higher education. As a very well recognized teaching and research institution we provide all our students only high quality programs with internationally recognized degrees. You will study courses that will combine economic theory with business, international relations and management practices. You will add courses in International and diplomatic studies in case of IDS programs.

Bachelor’s Degree Programs

International Business

International Business

International Business program (IBB) is a three-year, full-time bachelor´s degree program taught in English. Graduates of IBB have extended practical competences based on theoretical knowledge in the fields of international business and management; they are also multilingual with strong language skills.

They are prepared to work in mid-level management positions in multinational corporations, international and national export companies, in retailing businesses as well as in financial and governmental institutions. The acquired competences enable them to react flexibly to changes in the global multicultural business environment. At the same time, IBB provides a very solid basis for further studies at the master´s level.

International and Diplomatic Studies

Bachelor’s program International and Diplomatic Studies will prepare you for the area of international relations and provide you with theoretical and methodological knowledge, as well as extensive language skills.

The program is designed so that you acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the current international practice. The study of International Relations is connected with extensive education in Economics and complemented by the knowledge of Law, Statistics and Mathematics. The education lays special emphasis on the interconnection of knowledge in political, economic, international law, security, cultural and other areas.

International Business

International Business – Central European Business Realitiesis a two-year (four semesters) full-time Master’s Program taught in English.

The program was established to address the specificities and characteristics of the Central European business environment within the framework of the increasing trends of globalization. It provides students with a comprehensive business education in the main fields of economics, management, finance, marketing and negotiations.

International and Diplomatic Studies (IDS) is a full-time Master (two-year) program taught entirely in English.

It covers the fields of international politics and foreign policy, international economy, international and diplomatic law, comparative politics, as well as diplomatic history, theory and practice.

International Economic Relations

International Economic Relations

This study program enables further professional education of university graduated professionals by acquiring of scientific qualification in the sphere of international economic relations. Study extends the knowledge of this broad and dynamically developing branch and develops skills in applying scientific methods in research in this sphere. It educates experts for independent creative work and conceptual approach to solving problems of international economic relations and to applying newly gained knowledge in practice.

International and Diplomatic Studies

Doctoral study program offers extended knowledge in the branch of international policy. Study is conceived as multidisciplinary, is based on knowledge of world economy, international law and other important aspects of international reality – safety, ecology, culture. Fundamental stress is put on the study of theory and topical issues of international policy, interdisciplinary analyses of global processes.

Commercial and International Economic Law

This program gives extended knowledge in law disciplines closely related to the issues of international and national business relations. Therefore the key subjects of this branch are Business law, Law of business companies, Community law, International and comparative business law, Securities and Stock-exchange law.
