Our alumna Tereza Hofmanová is the new director of CzechTourism. Meet her in person at Alumni Wednesday.
As of September 1, 2026, Tereza Hofmanová, a successful alumna of the Faculty of International Relations at the Prague University of Economics and Business, has taken the helm of the CzechTourism agency.
Tereza Hofmanová has a long-standing background in the tourism sector. With her wealth of experience, she now takes over the leadership of the agency, whose main task is to promote the Czech Republic as an attractive tourist destination both domestically and abroad.
“How to bring the world to Czechia?” This is the title and main theme of the lecture Tereza Hofmanová will deliver on November 25 at 6:00 PM during the traditional Alumni Wednesday at the faculty. During the evening, subtitled “On the Transformations of Tourism, Foreign Markets, and Building a Strong Destination,” she will share her strategic visions, plans for her new role, and the current challenges facing domestic tourism in the global market.
Not only will you discover fascinating behind-the-scenes details about promoting our country, but you can also look forward to a great opportunity for discussion and informal networking with other members of the FIR community.
It is always a joy for the faculty to follow the career paths of our alumni, especially when they lead to such prominent managerial roles. We warmly congratulate Tereza Hofmanová on her appointment and wish her boundless energy, great ideas, and much success in her new position as she builds a strong brand for Czechia worldwide!
We look forward to seeing you there!
