FIR Success: Three Students Participated in the Prestigious EIB Summer School in Luxembourg
Three students from the Faculty of International Relations (FIR) were selected among the 80 participants of the prestigious European Investment Bank (EIB) Summer School in Luxembourg. Facing strong competition from Master’s students at leading European universities, FIR once again reaffirmed its international standing.
The international program created a unique environment for sharing experiences and fostering cross-border cooperation. During the summer school, representatives of our faculty – Ondřej Kujal, Ádám Nagy, and Vítek Honek – gained detailed and practical insights into the real-world operations of the European Investment Bank Group.
What the program offered to the students:

Expert seminars: Intensive modules focused on key topics such as finance, public policy, sustainable development, and international investment projects.

The participants themselves highlighted the opportunity to meet face-to-face with top representatives of the European Investment Bank and directly discuss current challenges facing Europe as the single greatest benefit. The program thus provided FIR students not only with deeper domain knowledge, but above all with valuable connections and hands-on experience for their future professional careers.
