FIR Students Participated in an Erasmus+ BIP in Split

Five students from the Faculty of International Relations at the Prague University of Economics and Business took part in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Entrepreneurship & Startup Development: From Idea to Business Plan, held by ASPIRA University of Applied Sciences in Split, Croatia, from 29 June to 3 July 2026. The programme followed an introductory online session, while its in-person component focused on developing entrepreneurial skills and creating a comprehensive business plan.

The programme began with introductory activities and ice-breaker games that enabled participants to get to know fellow students from partner universities. Students were then divided into international teams to work on their own startup projects. Each team was joined by students from ASPIRA University, who supported participants throughout the project while also sharing recommendations for interesting places to visit, activities, and cultural experiences in Split.

The teams’ task was to develop a business idea and gradually prepare a complete business plan, including market and competitor analysis, a marketing strategy, a financial plan, and a risk assessment. The project required close collaboration within international teams, creativity, and the ability to present innovative ideas effectively. The programme also included shared lunches at the university, providing valuable opportunities for networking among students and academic staff. The week culminated in final presentations by each team before of an expert panel, followed by a certificate award ceremony recognizing the successful completion of the programme.

In addition to working on their projects, the week offered an excellent opportunity to meet students from different European countries, exchange experiences, and explore Croatian culture. Through teamwork and informal social activities, participants gained not only new knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship but also unforgettable experiences, new friendships, and lasting memories of their week in Split.
