The Last Class Shadowing Day of This Academic Year

On 14 March 2018, the last Class Shadowing Day of the academic year took place at the Faculty of International Relations (FIR), University of Economics, Prague. The aim of the Class Shadowing Day is to provide applicants with hands-on study experience at the Faculty. The event, organised by the student-led FIR PR Team, was divided into three modules, addressing all Czech-taught full-time bachelor’s degree programmes at the Faculty of International Relations.

The visiting applicants met the organising team at the entrance of the New Building at 10:40. They were divided into small groups according to their preferred programmes. Every group was led by an FIR student who guided and shared with them his/her experience. Each guide introduced the Faculty as well as his/her degree programme. Afterwards, visitors could ask any questions regarding studies, the entrance examination and students’ life during a discussion.

To show faculty life to our guests, the FIR PR Team chose lectures that are distinctive for the programmes, so the applicants could decide whether they and their interests fit the area of studies. They sat in classes next to current students, met our teachers and could actively take part in lectures.

In the afternoon, all the visitors had lunch at the Academic Club VŠE restaurant where they had a chance to meet other participants.

We would like to thank all visitors, teachers and involved students. We hope that the Class Shadowing Day was helpful and that the visiting applicants gained new information. Photos of all three modules are available on our Facebook page dedicated to those interested in studying at the Faculty: Přidej se k nám.
