The Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and LINET Group in cooperation FIR invites you to a lecture

The importance of membership in the European Union for the development of Czech companies,

which will take place on December 3 at 16:15 in the Vencovského Aula.

Tomáš Kolář

A Czech Technical University (Faculty of Electrical Engineering) graduate who earned an MBA at the Ligs University. He has been a Managing Director of the Linet Group that is registered in Dordrecht, the Netherlands since October 2019. He has been working in the company for over two decades. He was its marketing director for sixteen years, before joining the current position he headed the Czech part of the group for nine years.

The LINET Group is Europe’s largest supplier of medical beds, Anti-decubitus mattresses, furniture and complete furnishing for hospitals and health care facilities. The company is headquartered in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, it employs 1,680 people in 15 companies and locations. LINET has historically never been unprofitable and its sales grow annually by an average of 20 percent. It operates in more than 100 markets worldwide. The company was founded and its CEO  was Zbyněk Frolík until October 2019.

 

Radek Špicar

The Charles University and the University of Cambridge graduate who graduated from his study visit at Georgetown

University and Harvard University. He worked as a Deputy of a Prime Minister for Economics. He was a director of external relations at Škoda Auto. Today he is the founder and co-owner of Epiphany pictures after leaving the state administration. He is a Vice President of Economic Policy and Export at the Confederation of Industry.
