Rohlik.cz will support FIR students from Ukraine

The e-shop Rohlík has decided to support Ukrainian students from the Prague University of Economics and Business in Prague. Up to 50 students, it will offer purchase vouchers worth 4000 CZK on their website Rohlik.cz  each month until further notice.

Olin Novák, CEO Rohlik.cz, stated: “We have established a long-term cooperation with the Prague University of Economics and Business. We come into lectures on regular basis and we are trying to gain new talents into our company. When we heard that Ukrainian students were facing a financial uncertainty due to the war and often, they couldn’t even afford to buy food, we decided to help.”

At the Prague University of Economics and Business, currently there are more than 500 Ukrainian students. Many of them have lost the financial support from their parents. Doc. Josef Taušer, the dean of the Faculty of International Relations, adds: “We support our Ukrainian students and since March we have paid them more than one million Czech Crowns on one-time scholarships from the faculty resources. Nonetheless, we are not able to cover their long-term living costs in the Czech Republic and therefore we very much appreciate the help Rohlík has decided to offer.”
