FIR welcomes applications for a position of the Head of the Department of International Business
The Dean of the Faculty of International Relations at the Prague University of Economics and Business announces a selection process for the position of Head of the Department of International Business (Katedra mezinárodního podnikání) starting from July 1, 2024.
Requirements:
- Academic rank of professor/associate professor,
- Managerial skills,
- Ability to lead large international teams,
- Proficiency in at least two foreign languages (proficiency in English is necessary).
Applicants are required to submit a development concept for the department, not exceeding 10 pages, with emphasis on the following areas and strategic priorities of the faculty:
- Personnel and financial support for the department’s activities,
- Technological changes and their impact on teaching and departmental subjects,
- Strategy for developing key competencies for the 21st century, focusing on qualification growth and personal development,
- Support for outstanding results in science and research, grant activities, and doctoral studies.
