FIR becomes a member of UACES
We are pleased to announce that, as of April 1st, our faculty has become a member of UACES – the international organization bringing together academics, students, and professionals with an interest in Europe and the European Union. Membership in this prestigious institution marks a significant step forward in the development of teaching and research in European studies at our faculty.
UACES (University Association for Contemporary European Studies) was established in 1968 and has since grown into a global community, with more than half of its members based outside the United Kingdom. The organization aims to promote education and research on contemporary Europe and the EU through conferences, publications, and international collaboration.
What does membership offer?
- Access to prestigious conferences and expert meetings
- Opportunities to join international research networks
- Publishing opportunities in UACES journals and blogs
- Grant support
- Special programs for early-career researchers
By joining UACES, new opportunities are opening up for both our students and academics – not only for developing professional expertise but also for building networks and actively engaging in discussions about the future of Europe.
