The teacher of the year at FIR is assoc. prof. Stuchlíková! VŠE awarded the best lecturers.
Data from the student evaluations (questions designed to assess the quality of the teacher, i.e. qualification and expertise, preparedness for lectures, clarity of explanation, ability to explain the material, and interest and ability to answer and solve students’ questions) were used to evaluate the teacher of the year. Prague University of Economics and Business selected the teachers of the year who have the highest average of all four aspects as well as a sufficient number of evaluations – at least 150 valid responses in both semesters.
VŠE awarded not only the Teachers of the Year, but the top three lecturers for each faculty. The Teacher of the Year (always one per faculty) receives an extraordinary award. The awards were presented to the teachers at the end of the Academic Forum, which took place on 1 March at the VŠE.
