Students of Commercial communication won in the A!M Creative Challenge
The team of students from the class of Commercial communication consisting of Ludmila Faltusová, Kristýna Schönová and Sára Laštovková won in the finals of A!M Creative Challenge in the competition of 17 teams in 6 rounds total. Students were working on the strategy proposal based on data received from the Globus company and their goal was to come up with a way how to communicate company´s own goods to the younger generation of customers, together with portfolio broadening and other services that could attract final consumers.
Student teams were evaluated by judges composed of organisers of the event, Attention!Media and Globus deputies. “The assignment was relatively difficult and wide, I was very curious myself how each individual team will deal with it. After all, there were many creative ideas and visions teams came up with; some of them are ready to use in real life and we wouldn´t come up with some of them ourselves. Moreover, I was amazed by the high quality of their work, brief fulfilment, own analysis and presentations. This high professionality level was a nice surprise for me. The winning team placed first thanks to the complex view and issue processing they presented, together with the fact their proposal can be directly used in practice,” says Otakar Plundr, Head of off-line marketing, Globus ČR, v. o. s.
Team members gained many new experiences, vouchers from the Globus company and could have established new useful contacts. As organisers comment: “We are delighted students are not limited by the practical experiences and they can come up with interesting and unprecedented ideas how to present the brand and make it more attractive in the eyes of its customer by which they can help to fulfilll its goals. That is why we decided to create a competition for students that can, by the participation, try to work on the real life problem of selected client and gain real experience in media strategy preparation.”
