New at VŠE: #innoweek awaits students in the middle of the semester. FIR has prepared over 70 events
The 2022 winter semester has traditionally begun in full-time mode, yet it will introduce some unusual changes to students during its course. One, and perhaps the biggest, is the introduction of Innovation Week, which is set to take place for the first time in the middle of the semester, in week seven.
To modernize existing forms of teaching. To encourage interaction between students. To support the implementation of the Learning Management System (LMS) at VŠE.The aim of the Innovation Week is to:
The new item in the academic year schedule lives up to its name “innovative”, as it will completely depart from the previously established teaching methods used by the Prague University of Economics and Business. From Monday to Friday during the 7th week, teaching will not take place in the usual way according to the times of scheduled events, which students always choose before the start of the semester. This will give each subject the opportunity to use the time options to suit their needs.
Students will be able to attend events and lectures at pre-announced times on a variety of topics related to the course, or complete assignments given by a specific instructor, usually at times other than the usual time of the original lectures and exercises.
Program
In view of a large number of planned events, the FIR has prepared an interactive display of them. Clicking on the #innoweek FIR link will take you to a basic view where the events are grouped based on language. You can change the view by clicking on the box in the top right corner of the view (View by event language). We have prepared the following views for you:
- All actions
- View by department (you can filter by the organizing department)
- View by the level of study
- Course-specific view (filter for events that are only for specific courses)
- Intended for all students (filter for events that are intended either for all students or primarily (but not only) for selected courses)
- Calendar of events #innoweek
- A list of all events across faculties can then be found in the VŠE Calendar.
