FIR welcomes new visiting professors
The motto “International in Every Aspect” isn’t just words—it’s what we live by. Our faculty doesn’t just talk the talk; we walk it, too. We don’t just send students abroad; we bring the world to them with a diverse range of intensive courses taught by visiting professors.
In the academic year 2023/2024, we’re offering a whopping 64 courses by visiting professors.
Right after Easter, students dived into two new intensive courses: “Global Cybersecurity: Risk Management and Governance in an Interconnected World” (2MS430) led by Dr. Anitha Chinnasswamy from Aston University, UK, and “Regional Trade Agreements” (2ME324) taught by Dr. Katerina Toshevska-Trpchevska from St. Cyril and Methodius University, North Macedonia.
Intensive courses taught by visiting professors are extremely popular among students, with three times as many applicants as available slots. They provide an opportunity not only to learn from foreign experts but also to engage directly with other cultures through teamwork.
