FIR is partner of the Prague European Summit
The Faculty of International Relations is a partner of the Prague European Summit in 2023, which is a strategic platform for addressing pan-European issues with regard to common challenges. It defines the future trends of the EU through dialogue with the highest representatives of the European public and private spheres. Strengthening the European Union’s role in the world while building a sustainable and resilient society.
As part of the partnership, the University of Economics in Prague is hosting a side event “Half-time of the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Facility: What have we learned so far?“, a debate moderated by Mgr. Jarolím Antal, Ph.D., Director of the Centre for European Studies.

The Prague European Summit was founded in 2015 by the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy and the Institute of International Relations under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic with the aim of reshaping the image of the Czech Republic as an EU member state that confidently yet constructively engages in strategic discussions on the direction of the European Union. Since then, it has grown into a high-level political discussion forum that regularly brings together more than 500 top politicians, political commentators, think-tank representatives, business leaders, public figures, young leaders and public representatives from around the world to discuss and find solutions to the problems of today and build the Europe of tomorrow.
