9th Annual International Week

In January 2024, the 9th annual International Week took place, hosted by the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. The event was also supported by the Faculty of International Relations and the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. Over three days, nine intensive courses were offered, providing students with fresh insights and knowledge on various topics. Classes ran from Monday, January 20th to Wednesday, January 22nd, and the event concluded with a farewell to the visiting professors on Thursday, January 23rd.

I-Week courses stand out from traditional lectures due to their unique teaching style. Students select one of the intensive courses offered during I-WEEK and, upon passing the exam, earn 3 ECTS credits. This year, the options included Digital Marketing in an International Environment, Strategic Management and Business Model Innovation, and Leadership and Change Management, provided by the Faculty of International Relations.

This year’s event welcomed a diverse group of professors from the USA, Chile, Taiwan, India, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Poland. Students appreciated the opportunity to apply their language skills to specialized topics and highly rated the teaching. This year’s I-Week attracted 320 students, showing an upward trend compared to last year when 187 students participated. New courses for the next I-WEEK will be announced in June 2025.
