Outstanding success of Faculty of International Relations in the grants announced by Grant Agency and Technology Agency of the Czech Republic

The year 2018 has been marked with an outstanding success for the Faculty of International Relations achieved in the field of grants announced by Grant Agency (GA) and Technology Agency (TA) of the Czech Republic. The research teams have gained 3 GA projects (in a role of co-researcher for one of them) and 2 TA projects (in a role of co-researcher for one of them).

The gained projects do prove the position of the faculty as a top research center and will be used in the future in order to improve the quality of education.

Brief information about GA projects

Researcher: Jeremy Alan Garlick, M.A., Ph.D.

Project: Chinese multidimensional economic diplomacy in the times of new silk road initiative.

Researcher: Vincenzo Merella, Ph.D., MSc

Project:  Quality of imports depending on a level of economic development of an importing country.

Co-researcher: Mgr. Miloslav Machoň, Ph.D.

(Researcher: doc. RNDr. Martin Šolc, CSc. (Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, UK), main co-researcher: Mgr. Miloslav Machoň, PhD. (Faculty of International Relations, VŠE) and Dr. phil. Tomáš Pavlíček, Ph.D. (The Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences))

Project: The first post-war generation of Czech astronauts, astrophysicists and mathematicians. Interdisciplinary research of scientific network history.

Project: Targeting of investment aid in the Czech Republic in view of anticipated impacts of technological changes.

Researcher: Ing. Václav Jirovský (Czech Technical University in Prague), co-researcher: doc. Ing. Pavel Drdla, Ph.D. (University of Pardubice), Ing. Petr Král, Ph.D. (University of Economics in Prague)

Project: Humanistic dimension of plans for sustainable city and regional mobility.
