Student and Alumni Mentoring Programs are in Full Swing!
Student and Alumni Mentoring programs at our faculty are successfully continuing, offering students valuable opportunities for development, education, and networking. In recent weeks, several events have taken place, offering inspiring workshops, informal networking, and practical skills useful in everyday life.
One of the key moments was the workshop “Respectful Communication” with lecturer Václav Strnadel, which focused on practical skills for everyday communication. Students learned the principles of respectful communication, how to say NO without feeling guilty, and how to better understand themselves and others. It wasn’t just theory – the interactive format allowed participants to try out new techniques and apply them immediately.
However, the mentoring program is not just about education but also about building relationships and connections. Therefore, we kicked off the summer semester in an informal atmosphere at the bowling alleys. This event was a great opportunity not only for relaxation and fun but also for making new contacts and sharing experiences between students.
Another important topic we addressed was time management and effective planning. At the workshop “How to Manage Time to Your Satisfaction: Time Management and Planning in a World Full of Opportunities” with Lucie Klabanová, participants learned how to better organize their time to align with their values and lifestyle. They discussed strategies for setting priorities and planning so they can effectively manage their responsibilities without unnecessary stress.
