FIR launches strategic cooperation with UniCredit Bank
The Faculty of International Relations is pleased to announce the beginning of cooperation with UniCredit Bank ČR and Slovakia, one of the most important banking institutions in the region. This new partnership, which was officially confirmed at the beginning of the new academic year, provides the Faculty’s students with a unique opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience in banking, finance and other key economic disciplines.
UniCredit Bank will actively participate in the teaching through its experts who will be guests in selected courses, providing students with valuable knowledge and hands-on experience. In addition, the bank will also participate in extracurricular activities organised by the SKOK student association, contributing its expertise to various seminars and workshops.
In cooperation with the FIR, we try to help students in their job market opportunities, increase their practical skills using case studies and show them our work in banking, which may be of interest to them in their future career development.
FIR thus continues its efforts to strengthen the link between the academic world and practical experience and offers its students opportunities to get involved in actual business cases and projects that reflect current trends in the financial market. The partnership with UniCredit Bank is another step towards ensuring that FIR graduates are better prepared for the challenges of the global market and have the opportunity to develop their careers with the top industry leaders.
We have long sought to connect our teaching with practical experience and seek appropriate synergies with corporate partners who bring business cases and experience from their area of expertise. UniCredit is an international bank that has vast experience in innovation finance, SME or export finance, or financial operations, as well as in marketing and more. There are a number of opportunities here.
