Tomáš Moravec became a new associate professor
On June 1, 2022, Tomáš Moravec from the Department of Business and European Law of the Faculty of International Relations was appointed Associate Professor for Business Law by the Rector of the Prague University of Economics and Business doc. Ing. Petr Dvořák, Ph.D.
Doc. JUDr. Ing. Tomáš Moravec, Ph.D. defended the habilitation thesis on the topic “The jurisdiction and applicable law in the European insolvency proceeding and the annex actions.”

Tomáš Moravec graduated from the Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague (Mgr., JUDr.) and the Prague University of Economics (Ing., Ph.D.). He also works as an attorney, focusing mainly on Business, Insolvency, and Enforcement laws. He also obtained experience in corporations, having worked in the bodies of several business companies. He authored a large volume of scholarly papers and co-authored a commentary on Insolvency Law.
