Announcement of a competitive selection process for 4 positions in the Young Academic Staff Support Program

The Dean of the Faculty of International Relations at the Prague University of Economics and Business announces a competitive selection process for 4 positions in the support program for young academic staff in the relevant fields, as determined by the departments of the FIR VŠE.

The program is offered for a period of 3 years; the monthly support amounts to 15,000 CZK gross in the form of a special performance bonus. Each year, the Faculty’s management will evaluate compliance with the program’s criteria and the progress made toward meeting them.

Requirements for applicants:

• age 35 or younger
• no more than 5 years since earning a Ph.D.
• full-time academic position at the FIR.

Conditions:

• To successfully complete the program, the participant must publish at least 2 Q2-ranked articles or higher (according to AIS) in the Web of Science database in the relevant field corresponding to the FIR department  during the duration of the support program, with a minimum contribution of 1/3 for each article; the articles must be dedicated to the FIR VŠE.
• Certification takes place once a year. If the FIR management deems the progress on the project to be insufficient, the support program for the academic staff member in question will be terminated by not renewing the allowance for the following year.
