Tomáš Dub, politician and newly appointed Ambassador to Japan, majored in international trade at FIR

744425_733968_NMDT_IlustracniTomáš Dub graduated from the Faculty of International Relations, majoring in International Trade, in 1992.

Since 1993 he has been active in politics, in years 1994 – 2002 he served as a Major of Prague 7. In 2002 he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic (electoral district Prague). In 2006 he managed to defend his mandate, being appointed as an MP for a subsequent period of four years.

In 2010 Tomáš Dub joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Deputy Minister. In August 2014 he was appointed to the post of the Ambassador of Japan.
