Competitiveness of the Czech Republic 2018: Analysis of results

World Economic Forum (WEF) publics since 1979 a report (Global Competitiveness Report, GCR), in which compares the macroeconomic competitiveness of states, based on the multicriterial index, processed based on own methodology. The overall index of competitiveness is set according to the criteria, that are divided into 12 thematic pillars. Used data are hard (for example information about inflation, GDP or the number of students), but there are more soft data, collected based on the surveys among managers that work in that country. The pat of the surveys is since 2014 also the Faculty of International Relations and its students from Student Club of Trade and Competitiveness (Studentský klub obchodu a konkurenceschopnosti – SKOK).
