The First Live Stream of Q&A With the Dean and Vice-Deans of FIR About the Extraordinary Measures

The first-ever FIR management stream took place on Thursday, April 2, directly from the Dean’s office, Assoc. Prof. Josef Taušer. In addition to the Dean, the Vice-Dean for Pedagogical Activities Assoc. Prof. Pavel Hnát and the Vice-Dean for International Relations and PR Ing. Radek Čajka, Ph.D. joined the stream.

In the introduction, the Dean summed up the whole situation and how FIR switched to online teaching by MS Teams two days after school closure. He informed the students about the preparation of the special law that will regulate the situation in higher education institutions in this semester (eg university fees for extending studies during an emergency).

The Vice-Deans focused on individual questions. Answers to the most common ones also in English can be found in the FIR student intranet.

At the end of the live stream the Dean Assoc. Prof. Taušer emphasized that the information about the opening date of schools would be known in advance and there will be enough time to be prepared for everything and to communicate everything on time.

The Dean thanked all students for their patience and commitment to the situation and added that their common goal is to manage this semester and continue in the study.
