Summer School „Global Governance“ in Geneva

The Summer School focusing on Global Governance is being held from 24th August to 6th September in Geneva. The aim of this program is to provide young professionals and university students with an insight into global politics and related topics, as for example sustainability and governance of global system.

Lectures, discussion with foreign professors and case studies will be focusing on:

  • Structure of global governance
  • Current issues in global political debates
  • Understanding of actors of global governance
  • New trends in diplomacy and role of non-state actors in the world discourse
  • Current problems concerning climate change, trade and development.

Summer School, which is held in English, is organized for selected 20-22 students. The summer school fee is CHF 2 750 and covers tuition, accommodation, local transportation and receptions.

Other costs, such as airfares, health insurance, meals and personal needs shall be borne by participants.

In case a student from the Faculty of International Relations is selected for the summer school, they may apply for a contribution from the Faculty’s Scholarship Fund to reimburse for travelling costs and partially also for expenditures for the summer school. Requests for such a contribution shall be directed to the Vice-Dean for Studies.
