Stephen Ridgway, Senior Consultant at the British Chamber of Commerce in Prague

on Friday December, 12th 2014 at 7:30-9:00 AM in Room 212 SB.

As a member of the executive team at the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC), Stephen helps UK-based companies to succeed in the Czech Republic. Prior to joining the BCC, he worked for the United Kingdom Trade and Investment, the UK governmental trade promotion organization, in Prague.

The British Chamber of Commerce in Prague associates over 200 companies representing a broad spectrum of British interests in the Czech Republic, from major investors to individual entrepreneurs. The primary objectives of the Chamber are to promote and enhance business relations between the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom, to help improve the competitive and business environment in the Czech Republic, and to provide a platform for creating new business opportunities.

The lecture is a part of the course 2MO301: International Trade, nevertheless, all students including international students interested in discovering more about working in international trade environment based on the first-hand experience are welcome to attend.

The lecture will be delivered in English.
